After graduating from Burr Oak High School, I went to Kalamazoo College and received my Bachelor of Arts degree.   I have a Math major and a Physical Education minor.  I later received my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Grand Valley State University.  I began my teaching career by teaching computer classes.  I have taught all levels of  Math including 6^th, 7^th, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, and Functions.  I have also taught high school and middle school Physical Education/Health.  Most of my teaching experience has been in Geometry. 

I have coached high school Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Wrestling.  At the lower levels, I have also coached track, volleyball, and soccer. 

I enjoy almost all sports but my favorites are football, basketball, golf, baseball and water sports.
